Catherine Boro

Psychotherapist, Psychologist

“I support on the path to authenticity and well-being, combining empathy with science.”

I am a certified cognitive-behavioral therapist who transforms a passion for helping into real support for another person. I conduct therapy in Polish and English, an extremely important aspect for me is contact with the patient and establishing a relationship with him in which he feels safe and has a sense of being listened to.

My approach has been shaped by years of working in diverse, international environments – from Edinburgh to Lisbon. I believe that each of us has the potential to change, and my role is to accompany you in the process of discovering your own resources and building mental resilience.

I help people struggling with trauma, domestic violence and difficult life experiences. I have training in working with episodes of emotional lability and self-injurious behavior. Thanks to years spent abroad, I have a keen understanding of the challenges of adaptation and social isolation.

I have completed prestigious courses at the Centre of Therapy in Edinburgh (SCOTACS) and Edinburgh College (COSCA). I have worked with people of all ages—from adolescents with personality disorders to seniors struggling with loneliness. My priority is to create a safe, inclusive space where you will feel heard and understood.

I invite you to contact me. Together we will work out strategies to help you regain influence in your life.
