“I support on the path to authenticity and well-being, combining empathy with science.”

I am a certified cognitive-behavioral therapist who transforms a passion for helping into real support for another person. I conduct therapy in Polish and English, an extremely important aspect for me is contact with the patient and establishing a relationship with him in which he feels safe and has a sense of being listened to.

My approach has been shaped by years of working in diverse, international environments – from Edinburgh to Lisbon. I believe that each of us has the potential to change, and my role is to accompany you in the process of discovering your own resources and building mental resilience.

I help people struggling with trauma, domestic violence and difficult life experiences. I have training in working with episodes of emotional lability and self-injurious behavior. Thanks to years spent abroad, I have a keen understanding of the challenges of adaptation and social isolation.

I have completed prestigious courses at the Centre of Therapy in Edinburgh (SCOTACS) and Edinburgh College (COSCA). I have worked with people of all ages – from adolescents with personality disorders to seniors struggling with loneliness. My priority is to create a safe, inclusive space where you feel listened to and understood.

I invite you to contact me. Together we will work out strategies to help you regain influence in your life.

Maja Laskowska

Psychotherapist, psychologist

I am a psychologist and psychotherapist undergoing four years of training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the Krakow Psychodynamic Center (KCP).

I gained experience during an internship at the University Hospital, an internship at the Praesterno Foundation in Krakow, where I co-organized a youth support group, as well as volunteering at a nursing home in Krakow and working at the private practices.

For me, psychotherapy is a space where the patient has the opportunity to explore and deeply understand their inner world and unconscious mechanisms. It is important for me to build a relationship that, based on trust, a sense of security and authenticity, will allow the patient to freely explore thoughts, feelings and also experiences, thus enriching self-awareness and leading to lasting changes, both in emotional and social life. An important aspect of my work is continuous development, further education through participation in training courses and conferences, as well as working under constant supervision.
